Sacred Intervals: Finding Peace in the Moments You Already Have
Learn the revolutionary practice of sacred intervals—transforming everyday moments into meditation opportunities with just three conscious breaths.

This is where sacred intervals come in.
Instead of trying to find 30 uninterrupted minutes (good luck with that), what if you could find peace in the moments you already have?
Those tiny spaces between things where transformation lives:
- The pause before answering your phone – that split second of choice
- The breath before entering a meeting – a moment to center yourself
- The moment your computer boots up – 30 seconds of presence
- Standing in line for coffee – meditation in plain sight
- Stopped at a red light – a gift of forced stillness
- The elevator between floors – vertical sanctuary
- Walking to the bathroom – mindful movement
- Before picking up your fork – gratitude in action
These intervals already exist in your day. You don’t need to create them.
You just need to recognize them.
The Three-Breath Reset
Here’s the practice that changed everything for me: interval breathing.
Not 20 minutes of breath control. Just three conscious breaths, then let go.
Try it right now:
-
Take one deep breath. Really feel it. The air entering your nostrils, filling your lungs, expanding your chest.
-
Take a second breath. This time, breathe in calm. Breathe out whatever you don’t need.
-
Take a third breath. Breathe in presence. Breathe out into this moment.
That’s it. Three breaths. Maybe 30 seconds.
Now let your breathing return to normal. Let your mind do whatever it wants. This is the interval—the space between conscious moments.
You just meditated. In the middle of reading a blog post. Without changing anything about your life.
